Part of me is midnight blue-
dark, mysterious and hard to decipher,
like an overwhelming veil of infinity,
the possibilities never ending.
But in certain situations another color appears.
Brilliant orange, simply eye catching,
profound and boundary stretching,
vibrant and alive, without a reason to hide.
Both colors are components of my heart and my soul,
forever stretching into eternity's home.

We're doing our poetry portfolios in my Creative writing class so I'll be submitting a lot of that. This is a two tone poem, in which you describe your self as contrasting colors I guess

you set up an interesting flow/pattern/rhythm in the middle, most specifically:
Brilliant orange, simply eye catching,
